The pre-Christmas gathering with a bunch of great buddies went so well. I also met a couple of new friends in addition to our group. It was awesome. I thought hubby and I couldn't make it, so, I just informed them to go ahead without us, BUT luckily, after suggesting other date, we all agreed to have it in Nov other than the month of Dec, which is full of events and festivities. The venue was at Sailor's... a very nice and cozy place. I adore it.
We were welcome by the lovely Christmas tree at the entrance and we placed all the gifts we brought for the exchange gifts session next to it.

The foooddd... yeah, yum!yum! We also had some salads, but not in the pix...
Ahhh... below pix a mouth-watering ice-cream, but that wasn't ours hahaha... The waiter has wrongly delivered the order. It was funny coz' I asked them to wait as I wanted to snap a pix of it when the waiter suddenly appeared and apologized to us. It was for the other table behind us. LOL!!!
Next, our exchange gifts session. The gifts were numbered and each of us has to draw a number. My gift was actually the last one and I was the last person, too... since it wasn't supposed to be like that, I gave my 'own' gift to the person before me and I took the last one he he...

Candle holder for hubby... sooo cute and I love it, too...
Besides the assorted fruits, we had Christmas cake! Yaaayyy, made specially by our friend's BF... thanks to both of you ya! *if you are reading this, you know who you are! ;-)*
Oh yes, we also sang some Christmas songs and we were the noisiest crowd that night. I was pretty sure the rest from the other tables enjoyed singing along, too haha...

Oh, that sounds like a VERY fun gathering!!! I also had a pre-Xmas party with my colleagues and it was fun. :-D LOVE that Christmas cake...looks DELICIIOUUUSSS!
