World Cup Fever

Football is contagious, don't you think? Some of the people I know are not 'footies', but when it comes to World Cup, everyone seems to be getting into the hype. In FB, most of the status is other than cheering the winning team, it's also about how good looking the football players are!! Hehehe... One of my friends actually wrote about her ears were deafened by the buzzing cheers when she watched it with her hubby and friends, and she thought that she could still hear it when it's already over! LOL!! Well, it's the spirit, but come to think of it, it's also the season of sleepless nights and betting. I know some do win big in betting. ;-D

Talking about betting, those who are interested in sports betting not only football, but other games like baseball, hockey and basketball may also find it online. This site is listing out the top 10 sports betting sites. Learn the tips and tricks and how to analyze and predict the games before placing your bets. You may get some ideas from here.

Anyway, when I was still 8 or 9 years old, I was playing football with my eldest brother. He was 13 or 14 at that time and we were at the back yard, but at that time I didn't know what the game was all about, so, I thought I just had to wait for the ball to kick it or something. At one time when I just stood there, the ball suddenly hit me on my face!! Ouchhh!!! It was painful and I was SO mad with my brother. I didn't know how to react, but I stormed into the kitchen to show my anger to my parents, in fact my mom found that it was ridiculous to see me getting angry just because of that and my dad also thought it was funny. Maybe they thought that it 'was' football, so, that was nothing. Err... maybe...

HE HE HE...many people in Indo are also crazy about World Cup. Not me...never he he...

When I was a kid I also loved playing soccer with my neighbours, but 'coz I didn't know the rule, I used to run near the opponent's goalie so that I had better opportunities to score goals HA HA HA...of course the boy who knew the rules protested and told me to go back to the middle part between the "field" (we had no field, we played soccer in our small alley) HA HA HA...

Amel: Me too, not crazy about it, but I do watch some matches. ;-D Hahaha, so, you just waited at the opponent's goalie? Hehehee... That's funny and it's even funny when we're so excited to score a goal, but never thought that it didn't count because it's at our own goalie! LOL!!

Juliana: GO, Orange! Heheee... Netherlands won, so, to me it's quite exciting coz' they are qualified now.
