It is sad to see that my blog's Page Rank (PR) has the same fate as Humpty Dumpty. It just crashed and never again increased even a bit for many months now. Maybe it's my fault because my blog is not being constantly updated and the search engines just ignored the existence of Choc Mint Girl! 
Some time ago, I have blogged about Google PR and the importance of number of back links and pages indexed. Hmmm... I have been using the PR Checker and it mentioned that the next update will be on January 2010. So, I've been thinking of doing something about it to improve my PR.
What about you, fellas? Do you care about your PR?? Do you think it's still important???

Oh, sorry to hear about this. I don't know anymore what rank my blog is now he he...I do care about my PR 'coz I'm thinking of opening my online business and working from home...but we'll see what I can do about my blog. I'm still in this lazy phase hi hi...

I don't worry much anymore about my PR, but I have been trying to figure out a new direction with my blog or how to at least get some of my readers back. Good luck on improving your PR.
Hi, passing through from EC. All of a sudden I started caring about PR when it went from 4 to 5. I'm also obsessive about my Alexa rank for some reason. I shouldn't be. I should just care about updating often and writing good material. But the numbers always suck me in!
p.s. Your blog makes me want choc chip mint ice cream right now!
At the moment, I don't too care about PR anymore :D Until now, I have no idea how Google PR can up and down :((
Iya la Crystal, sia punya blog pun macam humpty dumpty juga. Dulu ada juga dpt PR2 masa baru2 sia upgrade pi my own domain, after dat trus jatuh berkecai :*(
Sia jarang suda check my PR now, bikin sakit ati seja ba. Nasib baik ada juga satu, dua opps sia dpt bikin sambung nyawa ..
For me sia fokus more on getting more readers, get better Alexa rankings and reduce the bounce rate.
KadusMama: I think mungkin juga pasal paid posts with bad links, but not all of them. Eh, paid posts bagus bah dapat $$$ hehehe...

Wow, 5 was a big number, and 4 is still not bad, but of course, that got you thinking why it went down. I think that's the best thing to do for the time being, to update regularly and maybe to insert some keywords.

Bounce rate tu dia kira brapa lama your visitors stay on yr blog. Kalau tinggi, more than 90% kira bad la. Ko boleh check sana Google analytics ko punya bounce rate.
Ni definition sia copy-paste dr wikipedia:
A bounce occurs when a web site visitor only views a single page on a website, that is, the visitor leaves a site without visiting any other pages before a specified session-timeout occurs.
A visitor can bounce by:
* Clicking on a link to a page on a different web site
* Closing an open window or tab
* Typing a new URL
* Clicking the "Back" button to leave the site
* Session timeout
don't worry you are not alone....:) Mine did not come back anymore...been almost a year now...from PR2 to Pr3..then PR0...waaaaaaaa...crazy!
