Last Saturday, I had a trial stay at one of the hotels in 1Borneo. The room is inclusive of buffet dinner and breakfast. Since I heard that the bathtub is slightly dangerous because of no handrail, I decided to take shower at home before headed to the hotel. Save more time. Upon arrival, hubby and I went straight up to our room as I have already done a pre-checked in the afternoon, dumped our bags and found our way to the hotel restaurant he he he... The moment I've been waiting for!!! :D
Well, I'm not going to talk about the staff, but I really enjoyed the food. They have a variety of dishes for breaking fast spread on a very long table as well as the hotel specialties. Hubby and I acted like we haven't eaten for 3 days ha ha ha ha ha... We wanted to devour everything. I don't know what happen to me, but I'm turning into a greedy but still kind woman!!! Seriously, not a good sign.
Okay, I didn't manage to by-heart all the names of the dishes. Just look at the pics below...

Scallops...
After being well fed (ha-ha...), we went for shopping at the hyper mall. Yay!!! We only had one and a half hour to do our shopping activity because it's closed at 10pm and only a few shops extended their operation hours until 10.30pm. We bumped into my older sis and family. My nephews were excited. So, what I bought in that limited time?! 2 pairs of shoes, shirts for me and hubby, a trendy necklace, a belated gift for mom and a new hand bag, which I'm very-very satisfied with all the prices. :D It's just too bad they closed early during festive seasons...
Before we went back to the room, we proceed to the Golden Screen Cinema (GSC). Our next plan was to spend our time watching a good movie. I was thinking of watching the Deception, but there was no midnight show, ended up we had to choose between 2 movies and really glad I picked '21'. It's about a group of MIT students who are very good in Math being trained as Blackjack players... They count cards and make a fortune with their abilities.
Extracted from the official site of this movie...
"Looking for a way to pay for tuition, Ben Campbell (Jim Sturgess) finds himself quietly recruited by MIT's most gifted students in a daring plot to break Vegas. With the help of a brilliant statistics professor (Kevin Spacey) and armed with fake IDs, intelligence and a complicated system of counting cards, Ben and his friends succeed in breaking the impenetrable casinos. Now, his challenge is keeping the numbers straight and staying one step ahead of the casinos before it all spirals out of control."
Check it out HERE if you still don't understand what I'm saying ahaks! I really love it as it brings back the good times at the casino in Genting... Aiseh!!! Hihihiii...
Anyway, we checked out on the following day and resumed our shopping spree with light hearted. When we reached home, my 10-year-old nephew saw me with lots of shopping bags and was amazed, "That's the coolest thing!..." HA HA HA...
Day 2 ended very well and pleasant... :)
