This month's photography challenge theme is "Pattern". I picked the red packet (angpow) for Chinese New Year (CNY) as they come with various colourful patterns of prosperity and good fortune.

Angpow has brought back fun memories of my childhood and those years before I'm married where I was still eligible to receive them. ;D It is a monetary gift typically given from the Chinese who are already married to those who are not married yet. :)

Lovely angpow packets! I have a habit of keeping old angpow packets, can be re-used for birthdays and weddings :)
